Captain's Quarters

Pool and spa were nice although the weather was chilly most of our stay. Location was close to a lot of the things we like to do. I feel the amenities could be upgraded for the price. Bigger coffee pot nicer towels and a few more blankets one for the bed one for the couch. The washer/dryer set up was poor we had to take our clothes somewhere and dry them. And how about some bigger ice trays .. I liked the fact of walking to the beach but the houses were too close for comfort especially with a neighbor with a barking dog.

Awesome location on the island. So convenient to everything (Publix, ice cream, Dollar Tree, Alvins Island, restaurants, Walgreens & CVS..) yet just enough separation (2 blocks) to feel like you are still in a residential area. Easy walk to the beach which was gorgeous and easy to transport the provided beach chairs & umbrella in the provided beach cart. The backyard pool area was also very beautiful, private, partially shaded, and refreshing. Everything looks just like the pictures. The only downside is that it is directly on a busy street, so backing into your parking spot can be a bit tricky. There is a nearby stop light that provide sufficient breaks to support parking and pulling back out without any issues. We were in "B" which is the back part of the house with a direct door outside to the pool area which was very nice. We didn't hear much traffic noise, but "A" side may hear a bit more road noise. The backyard / pool area is shared between "A" and "B" renters, so there is some risk there. We enjoyed meeting new friends and sharing was not an issue at all for us.

We stay at this property all the time. Well maintained and in a perfect location. Amanda is an amazing host that pays attention to detail. It truly feels like home.

This place was awesome! It worked great for my wife and I on our honeymoon! Size was perfect for 2 people. I wouldn’t suggest anymore than that. The biggest issue we had was parking. There was plenty of space but being on the main road, it was very difficult to pull out every time. And with being close to the road comes noise as well. The walk to the beach was easy with the provided beach chairs and cart. Overall we had a great time and would suggest this place to any couple looking to enjoy themselves in the area!

It was at a convenient location and nice. Didn’t know we shared a pool with neighbors until right before arrived . The washer/ dryer wasn’t the best. Need a new one or stackables.
